T-bar Sagging Q.

Once the t-bars start sagging, how quickly do they go before they're shot?

its not like they go from good to bad. It is a spring and it is only "shot" when you dont like how springy it is. Its not like they will just fail one day.

I figured that. I 've notice lately the left side of my truck has been sitting lower lately and is starting to rub a bit w/ the bars completely maxed. I was just hoping I wouldn't have to replace them real soon.

Uncranked of course. Theres more tension on the bar when its cranked, causing it to wear everything out faster.

if you don't have #1's then I would recommend getting them soon to hold the weight

The bumper really isn't nearly as heavy as you'd think and the bars I have are #1's. the new bumper is maybe twice as heavy as the stock one.

Which is twice as heavy as what the truck was made to handle.

Regardless, you should still probably have it checked out by a pro. We're just a bunch of computers anyway.
