Will this look good? (grille)

Hey everyone, after almost a year I will finally be starting the labor process of my Ranger Conversion either this weekend or mid next week. The reason it has taken so long is because I have been with out a job for a while & now that I have one I can finally start modding again. But I have a question for yall...

I will be ordering headlights around Wed. or so & I will be needing those & a grille w/ shell. I found this grille shell of ebay & it has the XLT grille. Do yall think that it woll look good?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7986564098

I actually like it a little bit more than the honeycomb...

I'd probably hold out until you can find a white grille shell. I think on your truck the XLT grille will look fine.

Does this truck have the power dome hood? If so that's the same hood that I've got...

Personally I don't like the XLT grill, I much prefer the honeycomb, but you already bought it so I guess the point is moot, haha.

You can't compare an 04 to yours. The hoods are different from the 01-03. I can't remember if you have a powerdome or not, lemme look at some pics.

It looks like you have a powerdome hood, so fitting that grill is going be interesting.

is it just the grille part that is gonna be hard to put in or the grille shell it's self? Cuz if it's just the chrome grille that's gonna be hard then I'll take it off & just keep the grille shell & get a billet...

Didn't them member on here named Zero put that kind of grille on there?

I also just bought Ranger headlights too!

Do you see how that shell has a closed part for the actual grill? You're going to need one that is open at the top I think. The shell, grill, and hood is different on the 04 models than on the 01-03 I think. I know the powerdome is not as tall for a fact and the hood meets the shell in a different manner.

The grills are the same, its just the shell is either open for the powerdome and closed like that one for a 2wd XLT hood. So you are now gonna have to buy a new grill shell.

from 01-03 the 2wd grille and the 4x4/Edge grille are interchangable. You don't *NEED* the open-top 4x4/Edge grille to match a powerdome hood. I'm not sure what will interchange after 04, but I do know that an 04 hood won't work with the grille in the first post.

That is the right one. Not sure where everyone is getting 04 from, but that is the correct grill shell. You'll like it alot better than the XLT one.
