Anybody use colored Line-X?

My brother wants red line-X in his 04 F150 FX4. Has anyone had colored line-X for a while to know how badly it fades, if at all? I know I've seen some pink truckbeds in my time, but I never noticed what brand they were.

no but i've seen it in one truck and pics in magazines. i think it's a great idea. the one i actually saw was moroon and matched the truck body. contrasting colors would be cool too.

My brother is saving up plenty of hazard pay, hes currently in Baghdad. He wants to get the Line-X when he comes back to the states.

When he got back from his last tour he leased a Honda S2000 with his saved hazard pay, so I don't think price is a problem, he just wants to know if it will fade.

Colored Line-X is the same as Black Line-X on mine! They have Red, Blue, Black, Yellow, Green, Orange, and some others I believe...I don't think that they up charge the price that much to have a different color! If they offer it, then it shouldn't be that much of a difference in price..It should be the same as mine, fades a little over time, but just use Armor All to bring the shine back to life!

Well my little bro is pretty busy being a Lieutenant in the Army, he doesn't spend alot of time on the upkeep of his truck (he'll hose it off now and then but he doesn't spend alot of time waxing it or anything) plus when hes deployed it pretty much its out in the sun for 6-18 months at a time, thats why the fading is a big concern.

Right now my dad is taking care of it for free, so I doubt he'll bite on that.

My dad might even be leaving his Ranger outside and keeping the one-fiddy in the garage.

Wowak.... why not get a carport deal for like $900, well worth the price if it sits for 6-18months at a time.... just an idea.
