Anyone Regret Selling?

Just a feeler right now. My truck according to kbb private party is around 14,000 and with a trade in of 11 something, just curious if anyone regrets selling their ranger or opinion on it.

First off I will say there is nothing wrong with my truck, runs good and does everything I need it to do just wanting something different and a bigger truck. I guess the smart thing to do would be to just run it until it dies and save money until then but we all know how that goes.

Thanks

In 2008 I sold my first Ranger, was black 2.3L 5 speed manual. I trade it for a Grand Vitara.... wrong move men !!

I missed so much for about 2 and a half years until I had the chance to buy another one. (2010 Red same engine). I´ll never trade again my Truck. Maybe I´ll buy another one in the future but I will try to keep this one running forever.

Just my opinion pal.

I would have gotten rid of my Ranger 3 years ago if I had money. Yes, I have memories in my truck, but not of a smooth ride, good gas mileage, or passenger room.

I loved my Ranger, but I don't regret trading it in. I do miss it when I park in a packed lot though lol

It is funny this topic came up because about an hour ago I left work and thought of posting a similar thread. My need/want for a larger vehicle comes from a need to carry 3 people instead of just myself in the not so distant future (at least I hope it is soon, LONG story). For about the past 2 months I spend my weekends on craigslist looking at all the different vehicles for sale but come monday morning I want to keep my truck. These are great little trucks but I am reminded that I should have just bought an extended cab to begin with. my03, my exact thinking as I to want to upgrade to a 4dr 150 for the same reason.

Oh, another funny coincidence, I have a cousin named Zach Wilson.

i had a '93, it was lowered and clean. Supra roll pan and tail lights. It was awesome. I was 19 when I traded it in, about a month later I was mad at myself for doing it. I am still mad to this day that i got rid of it. It was one of those deals where I didnt realize what I had until I got older and appreciated nice things.

I crashed mine and then bought another one with 200k which i got rid of because it was a gross green and a stepside. I miss my red one though and it WILL be replaced soon.

i'm starting to get a feeling i'll miss mine when I sell it for a full size/other midsize truck. So i've decided to keep it when the time does come and make it my trail rig. lol

K thanks I appreciate it. I really think its pretty fair especially with that being a start price, and im just trying to be honest and im not going to screw the person over. We all know im going to want the most I can, someone else is going to want it for as cheap as they can so I tried to price is at a fair price to where both sides could be happy.

I regret selling my first Ranger as it was my first vehicle... it was nice to have the bit of cash at the time but for what I got for it I should have kept it until later on to fix it up again!
