axel seal

My front right axel seal has been leaking for some time now. I already bought the seal and plan on replacing it tonight.

Does any one have advice on how or what I sould look out for?

Any tips on how to go about replacing it?

Any questions about my truck is in my signature.

Thank you

It is easy, but time consuming.
1. Take of the caliper and bracket as an assembly off of the spindle. Saves time
2. Take the whole spindle off. Don't fight the axle around the spindle to save time, you will just waste time.
3. Then pull the axle out.
After that it is easy, pull out the old seal, carefully drive in the new one.

I recently did my left front because it was leaking bad. It looked like the cover was leaking but it was the axle seal.
Good Luck!

Jason
