Battery light=Radio?

Icon5 Battery light=Radio?

So I did my front BL today and the posative connection didnt reach so i tilted the battery... thats why its on i think BUT the radio dosen't work at all even when i push the power button... im getting a new battery obviously but wanted to know if that would fix it?

yeah, tilting car batteries is generally not a good idea. does the other electrical suff work? start? if so then its probably not the battery.

Yea everything starts but the bat light is on.... i know some water or sumthing leaked out of the top when i tilted it

You need to set that battery back up straight. You can get some slack in that battery wire, I had to do it with mine.

How do you get the slack? I tryed pulling it but got nothing

Mine was taped to another wire. I cut that electrical tape and it gave me enough slack.

^ Or get a non-spillable starting battery like an Odyssey or Optima. If you have a big sound system or such then get a Battery Isolator and an AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) Deep-Cycle Battery to run the sound system, winch, inverter, etc etc etc.

Went out there and got the slack.... battery lights on still suggestions?

Yea i was looking at an optima batter today there super expensive which would be my only set back

Enough to cause a little puddle... and as far as the electrode thats what i thought to... i think after my doctors appt. and after the bed of the lift is installed im gona go get a new battery

and as little i mean like a 50 cent peice size

Alright went out and bout an optima battery but the battery light is still on..... I went through and tightened my grounds.. Still got nothing.. The radio,4X4, Fog light and AC lights work but the clock, and the 4X4 doesn't engage

Double checked fuses look fine... still dont know whats up.. would autozone be able to hook their computer up to my truck and find the problem?

Yea F men right... im just gona run it up to autozone and have them hook their computer up and see whats up cause the check engine lights on

your alternator is not charging, that is why that battery light is on.
Trace all of the wires from the alternator and make sure they are intact.
