Bed Bolt Clips/Nuts

Hey guys. So I can did my axle swap and rear leafs and mounts the other weekend and my bed is a rusty mess thanks to a plastic drop in liner. We pulled the bed to make it easy on ourselves and we had some problems. We had to break the front bed bolts off and one of the rears twisted off. So of course now that everything is back together the bed smacks against the frame. I ghetto bungeed it to keep it stable but it still vibrates.

So I am looking at new beds since the front of mine is rusted through but I still have 3 bed bolts broken off in there clips attached to my frame. So I will cut those off but I have no replacements for the clips. I got three bolts at the JY outta a 93 but the clips were junk and I couldn't figure out how to get them off the frame undamaged.

I did find them on LMCtruck for $10 a piece.

I am leery though cause I don't want junk parts.

Anybody have 3 of these laying around for sale? Or a source? Or a Ford dealer price?

Yeah i need 3 clips and the 2 front bolts. I pulled a back bolt at the JY months ago to see how they come out so I have one of those for the one i broke.

Whenever I do a new project I go the pull-a-part and mock it up on a junked ranger so I know what the hell I'm doing when I do it to mine.

Old thread but wanted to ask.

Do you know which one was the longer bed bolts? We also need 6 clips right. I've read that you only need 4 for the rear because the fronts use a different locking nut nut can't confirm anywhere...

Thanks,
-Nigel

Ford bed bolts and clips are a one time use part.
New oem or aftermarket, replace them all.

I purchased new clips since mine are all rusted. Most of my bolts are in bad condition so I found a used set on ebay that were not nearly as bad as what I have...

But after you said that I have read mixed reviewed on people re-using bolts and clips and or getting new. I just ordered 6 new bolts so I guess that's better and I won't have to worry about it going forward.
