I have a 2011 ranger I am looking to get a body lift installed in the Los Angeles orange county preferably Torrance area. Any ideas where to go to other than four wheel parts ? Thanks.

Local Off-Road shops are your only other bet. You may be able to find a regular mechanic that will do it, but it's just a matter off calling around and asking.

If you're somewhat mechanically inclined, you can do it by yourself. I did mine by myself, twice. But I'm considered more than mechanically inclined.

Thank you for your reply. I am pretty mechanically inclined but I’m just getting older and fatter which equates to being more lazy. I wish I could get somebody to help me to install it. Of course I’ll be more than happy to pay for their time but I think it would be a longshot to find somebody like that. I will be installing the Fabtech 5 1/2 inch suspension lift myself which I have zero concerns about, The body lift spooks me a little bit. I would like to ask you approximately how long did it take you to install your first body lift, thank you, Robert.

It took me about two days, and that was me taking it slow. Most of the lift was done the first day, I spent the second day installing the bumpers and double checking everything.

The worst part, and in my opinion the only bad part about doing the body lift is that the bolts for the cab have blue Loctite on them. So you need to heat them up first before they come out. If your truck isn't from the north, they won't fight you, they came out easily on my Florida truck. But if your truck is a transplant and crusty, that might be an extra issue.
