its recomended that you go no less then 3 inches of your tire width. many people go 4 like putting a rim width of 8 inches in a 12.50 tire.

12.50s require a different backspacing then stock if im not mistaken.

15x8 rims with 3.25" ( i believe) backspacing to look semi stock or 4" backspacing to get the wider stance. being a xlt and having no flares. I say 15x8 5-4.5 and 3.25 backspacing.

I think the stock backspacing is 4.25 or around there. having 4 inch backspacing would tuck the wheels in even more, and 3.25 would push them out, wider stance.

I think leo's confused, mabey I am tho. lol

factory is 4.5 or so, 4 inch will push them out some, 3.25 will push them out more. the backspacing is the part of the rim that will be on the inside

Stock backspacing is very close to 4 - The smaller the backspacing, the further the wheel will stick out "Wider Stance"

I just thought of it backwards, my bad. I always had the cobra rims, which had 5.95" of backspacing , and were 9" wide. bleh.

They will be fine - I used to run 31x10.5 on them and now run 32x11.5 - It's all good
