You guys know what the heck the name of that little hood standoff is with the screw-in end and the rubber cap on it.. sits right on the front of the engine bay there.. ? I've been searchign everywhere and cant quite pinpoint it, lol

you mean the thing that raises or lowers your hood when its full closed? cuz i have no idea what its called but im sure you could find one somewhere...for could probably get you one for 5 bucks or somethin...

Yeah, i went ot Nappa last time, I figured it was a 'Hood Standoff' little did I know, that a ford style hood standoff is the rubber mounting that goes about halfway up the side of the engine bay for holding the hood off the frame,, those funky V shaped thick rubber things.

I'll take it down and see if any of them can figure out the name of it.. if not I might go to the ford repair dealer over here and see if they have one in back I could have for a few bucks.

I need it pretty bad, i wont put my new headlights on until I have one.. as the hood is only about a 1/4 inch off the headlight as it is without one.. I put a large rubber stopper there, but its only temp.




Oh anyway.. yeah, just kickin back waitin to see if any new pics will be tossed up

btw, are you going to put a ton of lights on this one like your silver ranger?
