Bought a new winch today, 4wheelparts is having a sale on the smittybilt winch's, the XRC8000 is 269.99 and the XRC10,000 is 359.00. The sale ends in three days, so if you want one you should get it. Those tools at 4 wheel parts charged me 299.00 instead of 269.00 plus tax, so I didnt get the sale price...I was on the phone when paying and didnt even notice it. Anyways, just letting everyone know. I plan on putting this one on the rear.

How do you like the Warn you have? Any problems out of it or anything. I found a nice on craigslist for $600. Good price?

 

I like it, I need to give it a once over...It will not free spool, but it still works. I have had it since 2001, IDK if that one for $600 is worth it without seeing the add, give me a link. You should just get the XRC10,000...its $359 new.

I called 4wheelparts about them not giving me the sales price, so im taking the 8000lb back and getting the 10,000lb for $375 and that includes tax...sweet!!

I say $450...If the price includes the Winch plate. The winch plate used would be worth 50-75 and the winch looks to me to be worth about $400. Oh, and the sale that 4wheelparts has includes a free winch plate, so you can get a 10,000lb winch w/winch plate NEW for less than $400. Plus, that Warn winch new is $880, so your only saving 200 bucks on a used winch.

I took the 8,000lb back and got the 10,000lb.

Dude with a winch in the front and a winch in the back, you can tie one to each tree and make a truck hammock.

Did some research and decided to buy this bad boy. They tried to jew me out of the 10% off, saying they couldn't combine offers(winch plate and discount). But I got them to do it anyways. Should be here next week.
