Brake master cylinder removal and installation?

Brake master cylinder removal and installation?
I have a 03 ranger 4wd, abs 4.0 and my repair manual tell me I need a special tool to bleed the abs, is this true, or can I do it myself. If I can, some pointers would be nice.
