BRAKE QUESTION

this is probably a basic brake problem but I know nothing about them so I figured I would ask...I have a fairly soft pedal pretty much all of the time...they lock up when its wet...and I have a lot of brake dust..I have to clean them every day or so...what could this be?? I replaced the back brakes but not the front..should I??

Take your wheel off and see how much pad is left

Do you hear a grinding sound when stopping

If you have a soft pedal you could be low on brake fluid or have a leak somewhere either a wheel cylindr brake hose or a caliper. As for the brake dust you are prolly using your brakes pretty hard.

Ya check behind the wheel and see if it is wet looking.

If so you probably got a bad wheel cylinder
