Brakes

I put new front pads and rotors on about 10k miles ago and they started squeeking after about 7k miles. I let it go, thought it would hopefully stop but it has gotten worse. I just bought a new set of ceramic pads today to replace the ones on there now. Just need to know if I should re-surface the rotors or just put on the new pads. The rotors don't look bad at all. Whatcha think? Thanks.

Always resurface rotors! It's just good practice when you are only replacing the pads. That way you don't have uneven wear and tear on your new pads!

Kinda figured that. What size are the bolts that holds on the bracket for the pads? I think it's a 14mm but not sure.

Are you talking about the caliper bolts?? You have to take the caliper off to take the pads out. I think the socket to use is a 14mm...might be a 13mm though. just try them out...

Not sure the bolts for the caliper and the pad bracket are the same size. Last time I pulled everything apart I think the bolts were different sizes.
