So my dad purchased a brand spanking new engine outfitted it with brand new everything and got the mechanic to install everything, and for some reason there is a crankshaft and camshaft sensor code going off, my dad mentioned something about a power surge setting them off when the truck gets started up. Can anyone advise as to why? I was thinking it might be a bad ground or something. They've replaced the cam and crank sensors with brand new ones and even replaced the harmonic balancer with a genuine ford one thinking it might be causing the surge since it was aftermarket.
