brightest headlight for 08 and 05?

My dad just got a new ranger sport 08 . I have the 05 ...

We are both looking to get some new headlights .

what are are the brightest bulbs possible regardless of price ?

what are a couple very good options for headlights on a tighter budget ?

I've got some NAPA BrightLITEs. They're a Xenon gas-filled composite bulb with a much whiter light than typical halogens. They're decently cheap...kinda a half a step up from halogens. around 20 bucks each, as opposed to the 15-ish for halogens.

HID's are the best of you aren't worried about price...silverstars are good if u r on a budget, but they don't compair to HID's

Go with a 8k HID kit you will never want to go back to a regular Bulb like the silverstars

.....and they're also illegal in most states unless they're oem or encased in a projector lens(like all oem's).

I absolutely hate when ppl put an hid kit in normal headlamp cases. They blind everyone around you and are quite annoying....hence why they're illegal.

At least you have projectors, unlike everyone else that doesn't seem to care if they blind everybody at night.

i have had HID's in my other car with a normal reflector and the glare wasent that bad.. how is the glare on these headlights? i still have my 5300K kit from my other car i can swap in.. i just dont want to blind everyone if the reflector makes the HID's go all over the place..

i have an 04 btw

I run silver stars in all my cars, only problem I find with them is that they don't just burn out like reg bulbs, they faded? didn't project as far then you know to change them. I go through a set a year.
