How to:
remove three screws holding stock dome in
install explorer using 3 screws mentioned above

lol :) no wiring or nothing. all connections are the same


i thought it was more complicated too lol.

I LOVE it. it was super bright with clear bulbs so i swapped the map lights out to amber. I also painted everything but the chrome around the bulbs flat black and it looks alittle cleaner imo

 

wow. I thought it would be more difficult as well. I went to go take one out of an expo from a JY and saw some kind of bracket and was like "aww crap, I need to put that thing in too?"

haha yeah its way simple.

yep the seats and shorty console were out of a totalled 04 lvl II

 

the lights cover pops right out. just a flathead on the back part and the clips come undone. the front just "hooks" in if i remember right

yup. the edges are just 4x4 frames without the front diff mount. everything else is literally identical. and actually some edges come with the diff mount.

believe fred meyers has them as well just a different brand

my caps didnt come with the stake holes but i just dremmeled them out. does wonders for extra tie down points plus they hold the caps down better :)

 

and they work great for home deopt/ fred meyer grade? how much roughly for a set/ 4 of them?

Color match grille, spray on bed liner, maybe try a headlight mod but use white an not back. That would be cool to see.

Any pics with the new honey comb grille yet? That chrome one was a little much for my tastes.

How about a Billet grill, stainless tow hooks, and maybe a 3.0 decal on the side of the power dome? Either red to match the edge decal or silver. Get the hood struts you will love them!
