cheap performance upgrade

I have a 2002 Ranger XLT 3.0L V6. I want to get a little more power out of it. I'm kinda limited in funds so I was wondering what I could do to increase power that's fairly cheap.

I know Q will recommend the MAC cold air intake. Not sure of the engine requirements but some use the Dodge Neon intake

im not 100% sure but i dont think that the mac one will work on a 3.0... i do know that K&N makes a similar one and lots of prople like those... i would just get a drop in K&N filter and remove your air silencer myself
