Check your welds!

Check your welds!
Decided to change my tranny filter and figured I'd put a drain plug in it. So instead of dropping the pan and making a mess I drilled a hole in the pan while it was still on the truck and let it drain into a bucket overnight. This morning I took the pan off, nice and clean with no mess. Took the pan to work and drilled the hole out more, cleaned it and welded in a bung for a drain plug. Looked perfect so I painted it and went home and installed it. After I got it all filled back I got one stupid tiny pin hole in the weld... dripping just enough to annoy me. I shuved some fuel tank repair putty on it for now but gotta take it back off again next weekend and re-weld the pin hole. I feel like such a moron for not leak checking before I installed it....
