Been thinking about upgrading the look on the front of my truck it’s a 1997 XLT. Been thinking about some chrome headlights and parking lights. Strange thing. The later model chrome grills sell for about half what the 93 to 97 sell for. Here’s the problem I can’t seem to nail down what years will plug and play. Has anybody change their grill out on a 93 to 97 to say 2000 or 98 or 2004? If anybody can help me I surely will appreciate it I hate to buy one and then have to send it back. I got my eye on one that it says it’s for a 98-2000 for $42.00. The one for the 93 to 97 is $86.00. Go figure ...
I bought this little truck for a little or nothing. it had taken a pretty good lick right behind the passenger door. Got just about all of the metal work done just got to weld in the new rocker panel and it will be ready for paint. Hope you guys can chime in on my fitment issue.

To put 98 or newer on, you would have to change everything on the front of your truck, Fenders, Hood, Bumper, Headlights, and some other things.
