Ok, I have a buddy that is looking to buy a new ranger. He loved mine when I had it and especially the shifter. He asked me if they still had it and all I could say was, “I Don’t Know”. Now if he orders a FX4 with a Stick would it have the chrome shifter or the stupid looking plastic one. I tried searching, but no luck

I think they still have the chrome shifter setup just like your '04 was.

 

Yes, it was mentioned on a PDF someone had posted. Only thing is manuals on FX4's are a late build. Anyone know on what Ford refers to late build date wise?

 

I'm not sure but my dealer told me Ford was very slow on production of 08 Rangers. Even the base models. He said quantities are very limited.
