Cleaning up after mudding sucks

Now, either I got under my truck and cleared out all the dirt and muck by hand, or I came out this afternoon and my truck had explosive diarrhea all over the driveway.

Your call.

However, hollow rocker panels are STUPID! This pile of crap is what I pulled out of my driver's side rocker.

A look at all the crap from under the front end.

On the bright side, my truck is nice and clean top and bottom now. BTW, all that dirt on the driveway is leftovers after TWO car washes.

that right there is why i quit muddin. it was fun, untill i got home and had to wash it lol. im still finding mud hidden here and there from the last mud run i was in 2 years ago lol. by the way, i stick the hose right in the rockers and clean the crud out every time i wash, keeps it from rusting.

Once we get the hose hooked up for the spring I'm going to get under there with the pressure washer and clean the whole underside. It's still dirty, but I got all the chunks and clumps out by hand and with a screwdriver. Wasn't much fun.

you should have seen how much came off in the car wash. I'm sure the next person in there wouldn't have been too happy. LOL

there was a car wash near me that had a "clean guarantee". wed go muddin then go through the car wash, and they had to keep letting us go through untill our trucks were clean. lol that didnt last too long.

Christmas Vacation!!! Love it! I thought about getting the guy that painted my truck to weld up some 1/4 " plating on my rockers, he said it was a bad idea if it didnt come from the factory like that. So I just let it be. X3 on the stupid idea though.

Haven't had to do that in over a year. I think the truck maybe due in for a mud bath here pretty soon.

Set the sprinkler up under your truck on a decent day, that's how we keep the mud and crap off the bottom of our cars/trucks/tractors/semis commuting to and from our farm (about 5 miles of dirt roads).

Might not be so good if your frame isn't painted though . . .
