Convertible Ranger anyone??
i think there used to be kits that allowed you to put the roof back on. that's what i would want to do if i ever did it to mine. removable hard top
I believe Dodge had a factory option convertible Dakota some years ago that wasn't a very good seller - "convertible" and "truck" don't seem to belong together IMO.
To each their own, though.

secondly, how is it very limited? the bed still looks usable to me. there are a couple of members here that have flareside beds and use them to haul stuff.
aside from the exploder bumper, the hole in the bed for the exhaust and the lack of seat belt making it a street legal vehicle it looks pretty sound.
i agree w/ casper, i'd rock it too. it's not perfect but it's not the mustang ranger either.
props to the fabricator for thinking outside the box.
lucas, how hard is it to swap doors?
victor, yea they offered it in 89. it was on regular cabs w/ 4wd. there is a couple of them around here. if i had the coin, i was thinking of buying one of them.
