Courtesy lights?

I have a 2000 with keyless entry. I have noticed that sometimes when I close the doors the dome lights delay before they shut off and sometimes they just go right out. I do not have a issue with my door ajar light or anything like that. I just wanna know if its suppose to have a delay or not. I know my 98 didn't have a delay but it had manual locks. I don't have a manual for this truck so if anyone could help me out it would be awesome. Thanks
-Luke

The delay time seems to vary on mine too.
