So in my old age (54) I'm liking the automatic transmission I have. It even has overdrive, but I don't use it.
If you're planning on doing a lot of off road driving, then yes the 5 speed may be right for you....Either or, the price sounds really good, a lot cheaper than mine was !!

If you like the truck after driving it, don't mess around too much as it might get sold to someone else. That's a really good price, and it should sell fast. Back when I was shopping around last February, I found a really nice 2001 Ranger for around $5,000 on the internet, and I went to go look at it, and it was gone before I got to the dealer, then the dealer tried selling me a '93 with 25,000 miles on it for the same price, I passed on it even though it was in mint condition, it was waaaay too old for me.
I took one look at my current truck, and bought it that day......after test driving it, we arraigned financing and I drove it home about an hour later. They can sell that fast.
One thing you can do is compare what that truck would cost new, and you'll see that it's a bargain, considering the excellent condition and low mileage.

It says o/d off that means overdrive off and with it on like that its saying you took the truck out of overdrive hence why its running at higher rpms.
