cruise control

Are the 2000 XLT's pre wired for cruise control? I was thinking about getting a steering wheel from a junk yard or something off of a 2000 ranger that has cruise control on it. But I was hopping that the wiring was already there and just waiting for the right wheel.

Look under the hood passenger side behind the coolant bottle. There should be a big connector there with a cover. If you have it then it's wired.

Look towards the firewall not the fender.
