Truck goes into the shop on March 3rd to get a custom tube bumper built!!!

I can't wait!!! That, along with the body lift, is gonna be killer!

but damn, i'm just really excited. all of a sudden, the truck is transforming (lol) into exactly what i have been wanting it to be. small lift, nice front bumper, meaty tires etc etc

 

It is the beginning of the end lol.

Are you getting the bumper built before the body lift??

 

no way. the body lift goes on this weekend. then the truck goes to the good Dr. (his shop is called Dr. Smash) on March 3rd.

and beard, its actually somewhat similar to yours. not sure if im going to get the hoop.

but he's going to do me a one off bumper. so a lot of things will be changed. place for a winch, possibly a hitch in the front, 4 tabs for lights, stock tow hooks will be retained, skid plate. it'll have a bit of a prerunner look to it, but thats kind of what i'm going for.
also, black, or body color? i'm thining black just to match the theme for the truck.

 

I'd go black, it will tie in with your rims, headlights etc. Plus it will be easier to touch up when you hit another jeep lol jk

Powdercoated? Bedlined? Spray painted?

What kind of paint is it getting?

 

i think some high temp paint. either way it'll hold up.
