Deer problems, need advice pleez!

Okay well I'm almost petrified to drive to work in the mornings and home at nights anymore because the last two times I have almost creamed a few deer many times in one trip, only going about 20-30 mph. The last time (only timeabout a year ago) I hit a deer with the ranger it did $4,000 worth of damage to the front end. I don't want to go through that again so I was pondering on a bull bar or grille guard so when it happens again I don't have another $4,000 insurance claim and I could care less if a few bars get bent compared to having to replace an entire front end. Here's a pic of my front end, I want something that will protect my front from a deer body slamming into it but I want it to look good doing it too lol. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice?

unfortunately i really doubt anything made for a ranger is going to hold up.

you might be able to go with that one bumper that a few memebers have bought

all you can do really is get a heavy duty bumper and a grille guard but it will possibily still do damage so besure you have good insurance

not much will stop deer from creaming your truck those "push bars" are cheap...

pretty much only a ARB or Body armor style would work...

that sucks. you mean that custom fabbed one with thick plate metal? That one looks pretty rugged.

yeah thats what I was thinking. I do have good insurance but I'd say one more claim and my rates are gonna skyrocket.

lol yeah just like death race. load some 50 cals up on the hood, they won't stand a chance.

I'll look around at some bar systems and see what I can find.

With some heat seaking laser radar cannons, it could pick up the deer before it runs into the road and vaporize it.

I found this:
http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.as...rtfamilyid=928

and this:
http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.as...tfamilyid=6209

I think I'd rather have something to protect the whole front end, so maybe the whole grille guard assy. just stainless.
and oh yeah laser cannons are the way to go, just vaporize 'em and be done.

I don't think a bar would look good on your truck... your truck is clean and I think that would mess it up... I do understand the functionality you're going for but I wouldn't think it would be worth it 'cause the deer would still probably cause SOME damage...

lol I would love to be able to cream some deer and not do any damage. Payback is sweet.
I would like to custom fab something up if I had the know-how and time. It seems like they only make that stuff for full sized trucks...

I put a set of those deer whistles behind my grille (I know, some people say they are worthless), and never see them in the road anymore. I drive a 2 lane country highway home every night (3 am).

The first choice would probably work the best the safari bar wouldn't stand a chance.

If your going to put any kind of bar or custom bumper on your truck check with your insurance company because your rates will go up.
:Reasons for jacking the rate.

Statistics show that bars ect increase the damage to pedestrians, give them a call and see before you add a bar.
I'm not joking.

Not sure about deer but my guard has held up well, its a warn transformer and it has seen its far share of impacts, I rear ended a Toyota at about 20mph and all I had was 2 scratches in the powder coat on the lower bumper, the toyota was totaled.
