disc brakes?

i have a 1994 ranger with drum rear brakes and i want to go to disc rear and i want to keep power brakes. is there a truck that i can get it off of. the truck has a 8.8 in it.

Swap in an Explorer rear or get them off a Mustang.... there's tons of threads about it on here.

No, no trucks you can get rear discs to put on yer truck. sorry bro.

Just drive in reverse....problem solved.

Get an expo rear axle.

if ya got the 28 spline 8.8 you can swap in mustang brakes.

The easiest conversion is the same one you can do to a Fox Mustang 5 lug that retains the stock length axles. I used the 94-04 V6/GT set up with aftermarket brackets. I modded the stock ebrakes to work as well.Name:  ReardiscConv1.jpg

Ima let you finish Grant, but in my opinion the Explorer is a truck cause it's solid rear axle and built on a truck frame.
