Warranty Question
whats up guys,
I have a 3in. body lift (P.A.) for my 07 and i was wondering if I install this what warranty issues will I run into at the dealership. Like what areas will it void if any and is it worth putting it on? Thanks ahead of time for any info on this subject!

Real life situation, warranty claim may very likely be denied until user can prove that aftermarket part is not the problem and/or user can prove they are willing to go to court.
LayingFrame89, call a few of your local dealerships. A dealership near me told me that if I got a lift installed at a specified shop that the warranty would not be affected.

Its called the Magnuson/Moss Warranty Act. It basicly covers you if a certain system on the car fails and can't be connected to any mods you have done. For instance, if you install an oiled air filter (such as a K&N) and the MAF becomes coated with oil, it's not covered. But, if you install custom wheels and tires and...I dunno...the air conditioning fails, then legally they can't blame you, it's all on them because there is no way the two systems are connected. But, if you put on those nice wheels and tires and a ball-joint or tie-rod end fails in the warranty period they would blame it on you. The body lift could be the cause (in the stealerships opinion) of alot of problems like steering and braking issues because you moved things around.
