when off road on uneven terrain, mud, snow, ice, flexed out...

....l/s = open

both only turn if i have both tires on equal traction surfaces
in my book a cheap old l/s like the one i have from the factory=open

i HATED only having 2 and 2low.. i broke and beat up/broke sooooo much ****!!

bent the LCAs, bent a rear axle shaft, knocked hoses and a canister in the back loose, bent up the sub frame.... being able to crawl again ftw!

forgot to mention gouging(sp?) out and tearing the rear tires up!
gotta get em swapped out with new ones soon ;)

Yep, a LS transmits a certain percentage of power to the other tire. The problem with that is, if a tire has no traction, say a tire in the air. And any percent of 0% traction is 0 so it is the same as an open differential. Where as a locker splits power between the two sides.

very nice vid there

its in anza borrego, a desert located near the salton sea. definitly a fun water crossing. it bent back and forth so when you first entered it, you couldnt see the end

thats where the single CV shaft and locker up front comes in handy

i have no idea how i have broke 6 driver side cv shafts and no passenger side ones..:headache:
i go out and play with that one shaft in there too

Hey i hear ya there. if u ever make it to fortworth i could meet ya. I wheel when i can. i have never had any probs with my stock tires on dry terrain but one mud trip but a small lift and a lil taller tire you'd be 1000times better then you were b4. Hey Trigger i love your truck man i may end up doing a shackle lift instead. :drive::55[1]:
