Fx4wannabe01 02-05-2008 07:03 PM

john griggs has one of the most capable 2wd trucks here.

S1att3r 02-05-2008 07:05 PM

i do on occasion. i only get stuck when i do stupid stuff and my truck is stock with street tires.

enraged_hunter 02-05-2008 07:40 PM

i do minor wheelin, but i watch where i go not having l/s. But i have not got stuck yet even though i should have been.

Trigger01 02-05-2008 07:51 PM

Heck Ya! I put it through the paces! I'll take it places and do stuff with it most 4wd guys wouldn't attempt in 4wd.

Fx4wannabe01 02-05-2008 07:54 PM

Yea...I 'wheel my 2wd........and then when i need it, that front axle is just a switch click away. lol.

gatorblue92 02-05-2008 08:46 PM

oh yea all the time

Urandaman 02-05-2008 09:09 PM

i do.. but no mud or anything... i dont like cleaning haha.

ive gone up and down and over some real uneven stuff that had my truck rocking side to side.. and thats with stock gears and open diff

garryyjr 02-06-2008 08:20 AM

I do.. It fun.. Trucks are meant to get dirty, 2wd or 4wd...

Zs02Edge 02-06-2008 04:28 PM

Most of the places I go kayaking are off the beaten path so yeah, I wheel in my 2wd. Cyprus knees will stop a 4wd dead in it's tracks too so it doesn't matter that I only have 2wd right now.

yellow rhino 02-06-2008 06:21 PM

Ha never, why would anyone do that.

Rev 02-06-2008 06:35 PM

Yeah Jared just likes to photo shop his truck so it looks like he off roads. :sgrin:

chevyslayer925 02-06-2008 06:41 PM

i think rangers have gotta be the most capable truck off road as far as bein 2wd...if that makes sense...i had an s10 that was 2wd and i can do more in my ranger than my s10 ever could..

RazorsEDGE 02-06-2008 06:46 PM

I used to wheel my 2wd. haha if you know what i mean

chriswells78 02-06-2008 06:50 PM

07ranger does, but he gets stuck a lot :)

01 ranger 4x4 02-06-2008 07:28 PM

yes.

n3elz 02-06-2008 08:15 PM

For the last 5 years I have. I just did a SAS and I'm making my truck 4WD.

Go to my Cardomain site in my signature and click the link to my movies. You'll see me wheeling my truck in some of them in 2WD.

And Shane, thanks for the compliment, lol.

02rangermayhem 02-06-2008 09:42 PM

i used to take my old ranger offroad all the time. i wish i had some pics of my little 2.3L pulling out this lifted chevy 1/2 ton. that guy was kind of pissed that i pulled him out because he said it wouldn't be able to.... proved him wrong and i felt proud of my truck.

then i sold her and got my a 4wd.

02rangermayhem 02-06-2008 09:47 PM

had a second thought....

i should warn u that ur truck is not designed for offroading. a 4wd is going to be better protected from the elements. by this i mean a 4wd will be sealed and protected in places not necessary for a 2wd. another thing to keep in mind....... 2wd or 4wd, if u take it offroad be prepaired to get stuck. never go out alone.

Rolldogg 02-07-2008 08:06 PM

When I first got the truck, I was getting into everything. Now the "Ahhhh" has worn off and I mainly keep it on the pavement. It might see a back road every now and then, but I like to keep it clean now. I've have my fun of beating vehicles up.

07Ranger 02-07-2008 09:33 PM

why would u even lift one? waste of money, 2wd=lowered
