I don't keep any records for any of our 3 vehicles, I just change the oil every 4,000 miles, and rotate the tires on every other oil change.

I did with my old car and started to keep track of fuel mileage with the truck, but after a while it got too depressing so I stopped.

I take mine to the dealer for everything ( I know, I know) so I just go by the owners manual to keep my extended warranty valid.

Just with oil changes and tire rotating, I know its not going to mean anything come trade in time. I don't drive 3,000 miles a month and have two sets of tires for my truck. I did the brakes at 17,000 miles last year and I just hit 26,000 miles last week. It helps if you get forgetful but somethings need to be remembered. I keep the receipts if I take it in for a service I can't do. With three car it can get tough knowing which needs what and when.

I have service records for every mechanical thing done on my truck since it had around 75-80k miles on it, and it is getting dangerously close to rolling over 200k right now

I have a receipt of all the work done at the dealerships and I have a handwritten list of all the mods and costs of mods that I have done.

I use a program called "Drivers Log" for my truck, car, and 12 motorcycles.
With so many vehicles, and as **** as I am about my maintenance, it helps me keep track of everything. It really sucks getting old, as sometimes I can't even remember my name, let alone the last time I changed the oil...
