Do you let people smoke in your truck?
As the title states, I DON'T smoke at all, but some of my friends always ask me if they mind if i let them smoke in it. I tell them it's okay as long as they role the window down. This works somewhat but it always smells like ciggerettes in there for a day or two after then it goes away. Should I start saying no? I hate the smell of ciggerettes but it doesn't bother me if the window is down to much. My truck doesn't smell like smoke right now but as I said only for a day or so after people smoke in it. What do you all do?

I tell them to put it down half way, and I do have a freshener in there right now so that helps. I just can't stand the smell of butts anymore. I just wanted some opinions from other people on what you say? Also I role down my window at the same time.. This is only sometimes though it's not smoked in much..

Yeah I mean I don't have a problem with the smell inside the truck the fabric smells fine, I just personally can't stand it anymore. I tell them to roll it down but the butt is still kinda in the truck, must mostly near the window.

I was a smoker up until a few weeks ago as well. I dont want anyone smoking in my truck anymore, it's not because of the temptation or anything. It leaves everything smelling like smoke, leaves a residue on the windows, get into the HVAC ducts, and eventually is really hard to get out. Even with the windows down, the odors are still clinging to any fabric, foam or plastic in the truck. It's personal opinion though, so your choice.

I let my friends smoke in my vehicles before. I've never had a problem until recently. My SVT had obviously been smoked in before I bought it. I shampooed everything I could, even the headliner. Well, a few weeks ago I found a cig-butt burnt halfway into my seat, on the seam where the leather and the red cloth insert comes together on the backseat, of my effin SVT! I was pissed. He has lost all privileges.
