I have an 02 ranger which when I open the driver door the dome light won't come on. But passenger door will activate the light. Fuses are good so I know it's the sensor in the door but how to get to it to replace it?

 

spray the latch itself on the door with WD40 and slam it shut about 5 times, i mean REALLY slam it. I bet the "sensor" is just stuck. this will also prevent the "door ajar" light from coming on in the future even when your doors shut, unless its already happened on your truck before.
