my truck has 4 wheel disk and the ebrake is actually shoes inside the rear rotor centers which act as drums. I've replaced all rotors, pads, ebrake shoes and hardware kits on ebrakes. Sounded great for first 100 miles then started to squeal like it did before i changed everything out. Finally was on a long trip and couldn't stand it no more so took the shoes and hardware out. Now I have to reassemble for inspection but dont want to put them together just to take them apart again. Is there any known perm fix for these ebrakes? I sanded and greased the backer plates where the shoes slide and cleaned everything thoroughly when i changed them out. Annoying to have new brakes making noise.
