This gentleman from Canmore Alberta was nice enough to wreck my 4x2 09 Ranger for me the other day...T-boned me in the DS front wheel. I knew it would never be the same after they fixed it so I traded it in for an 2010 Ranger Sport 4x4. I will post pics as soon as i can. I may have to change my name in here now...lol

 

At least you were able to buy a nicer truck.

it is redfire red....I just had line-x spray in a new bed liner today..I was kinda upset that they got rid of the limited slip diff for 2010, but I guess having traction control is okay too..

Glad to see it worked out for you in the long run. You can always upgrade it yourself to a limited slip or locker!

 

Congrats on the new Ranger. Tough way to get one but as long as no one was seriously injured.

 

Same reason we can't get FX4s anymore and why the Canadian FX4s are just Sports in disguise.



Plus if a new Ranger comes out it will be more hype if the last 3 years of Rangers before it didn't have any of the same options.

ie: "I just bought a 2012 Ford Ranger FX4 Level II, I was going to get a few year old lease but they didn't make any 09,10,11 FX4s. Oh well. I really like the crew cab."

 

I also like the idea of the side airbags that were not in my 09..I whacked the window pretty good with my head and my shoulder... If it was any harder it might have been a different story about the outcome.
