Hello. I don't own a Ranger (Yet!) But I don't really have a lot of money at all, and was looking at something around the 1993-1997 range. Hoping for 4cyl 5spd 4x4. I wanted a V6 but they're terrible on gas milage. Anyway, I really don't care for the way the front looks on the older Rangers. I do love the Edge/Fx4s though. I was wondering is it possible to swap them, will they bolt up easily, or would be a huge pain to do so?

And if it is, how big of a pain to do so?

I did it. Its not the easiest thing to do. Not impossible tho. Just expect it to be more difficult then you think it is and be prepared to do some customizing

 

I don't think I4 was available in the 4x4 starting in the 93 model year. Only the 3.0 & 4.0 V6.
