Newb here and just curious if there is a thread for exhaust tips. I want to put duals on my FX4 and wanted to hear the differences. Help?

 

Here 's a link to a few clips from my old exhaust set up, Glass packs. I now have Borla Pro XS which is much quieter. I'll see if I can find a clip of Borla on someone else's truck.

 

It sounds even better in the cab. This is a clip of the Borla Pro XS.

gibson dual extreme on my 3.0l

 

Unfortunately I don't have a clip of my 4.0L with the Borla Pro XS muffler and 3.5" tips, but I think it was the best-sounding exhaust I've heard on a Ranger! Several people thought it was an 8 cylinder, and it never droned on the highway or was ever too loud. It sounded great and was just right!

I think if you search around on here you should be able to find a couple clips of people who have the same set up though.

Sweet Action! I just heard a Ford Escape 3.0 with a Flowmaster 40 series and it sounds nice. I'm definitely going to have to get one of those installed :)

 

I like the Flows better than the Mags but seriously, how quickly do the Flows rust out?

 

i have had mine for 4 years and it does not have any rust with driving is salt every winter in New england so idk but mine is going strong.
