Exhaust hanger with gibson kit lasted 4 months?
I bought a Gibson Dual Exhaust back in April and the other day I noticed one of my pipes was hanging lower than the other, took a peek under the truck to find that one of the hangers had broken already. Went out today and got 2 new ones to replace the broken one and the other one before it breaks!

The new ones were a little long so i had to chop them down a bit so they would fit and sprayed some undercoating on the raw end to keep it from rusting up, now that i think back i should have sprayed the whole hanger.

Dash Parts Distributors, local parts distributor that we deal with through work, get stuff super cheap, its great! Paid $2 each for the hangers! they are basically identical, but a little more heavy duty! If what Shane says is true (usually is!! haha) I will pick up another couple and weld some reinforcing in there and maybe weld them onto the frame. hmmmm
aka any parts store. Hangers run about $1.50 to $2 US. Come in a white and blue box. Don't forget new U-bolts/exhaust clamps.
BTW....my rear hangers were always welded to the pipe. I totally fixed the breaking issue by installing these hangers you've installed.
