I went over to the paint store to get a little bit of paint to fix the scratches on my truck. I figured it would cost maybe 5 bucks or so for a small amount. I got a 1/4 of a pint of mandarin gold metalic base coat, and it costed about $28!!!! I figured it up, and it would cost about $400 for a gallon!!! (in DBC basecoat I think). Is that insane or what? How much does the Sonic blue cost? Are there any other ford colors that cost more than 400 bucks a gallon?

 

Tell me about it....anything with any red tint means $$$$$$$$$$+more $$$$$$$!!

just another way for the auto industry to rape ya. i mean, lets be realistic, if it was actually WORTH $400, it would have real gold shavings in it so it would forever glitter in the sun light.
