F250 Shocks on a ranger

just talked to a guy who said that you can use f250 shocks on rangers with 4 inches of lift or less. The backs directly bolt in, and the front shock 'bucket' has to be slightly modded..
can anyone confirm??

My rear shocks are for a 4wd 250 with 0-2" of lift or something like that? I have an AAL and a 4" block.

How about just buy shocks for a Ranger with the correct lift? They bolt right in with no modding.

I wouldn't know... I'm a NOOB!

Now that that's out of the way... yes F-250 shocks are longer... but the modification to run them would cost you more in the long run than just buying the correct shocks for your truck.
