when i first bought my truck i took them off the same day....but after awhile i painted them black and ended up putting them back on.....and to me they look wayyyyy better painted black!!! i love them and in my eyes it gives my truck a meaner look......but you will always have people on here that say they look like crap

marie, how many coats did you put on? also, did you use any special primer or anything to get that paint to stick to the plastic. i've been thinking about spraying my rails and rear bumper plastic pieces to get rid of the last of the gray before i "za-beardify" my hood.

i have them and i might take them off.. i havent dicided what to do i cant decide. if i keep them i want to paint them and if i try to take them off all the clips brake and then i cant put them back on so its either take them off or paint them while they are still on the body

It looked good with just one coat but I did 2 just to be safe. No primer since I used Krlyon Fusion which is made for plastic. I just washed them with a little of the detergent I use on my truck and let dry. The second coat doesn't stick to paint as well as it does plastic so after letting them dry I still was getting some residue on my hands but after installing on the truck I've washed them about every 2 weeks and they look like new still.

i like the way they look too, i looked for them for my truck a while back and no one was selling any so i bought different ones.
