finally wheeled the 88 (video)

its been a long time since I have been on here but we finally got the ranger out of the garage and used it a little so I thought id put something up. we headed out to elbe hills for a trial run after adding a new fuel tank, aluminum radiator, tires and a few other things. we didnt get much video due to the rainy washington weather but something is better then nothing.

Can't laugh too hard the guy in the jeep is 71. I hope to be doing that when I'm his age lol. He's locked front and rear on 35's just didn't have the wheelbase and his tires were not the best. I laughed a little too though because he had to try everything the ranger did.

True... we are taking the ranger out for a weekend trip in about a month and we will see how well built it is then lol. it was bought with a most of the stuff done to it already and now we are finding that we have to redo a lot because it was thrown together and not really well planed. it has a good platform though. A locked ford hp 44 front and spooled big bearing 9" in the rear with 14 inch travel shockss all the way around but they are pretty old. it also has a rebuilt 4.0 that has less then 30K on it but we plan to put a 302 in it this fall when we narrow the front end and redo the cage.
