Dude that sucks...Where you driving or parked?

 

i was driving down east main st and came up on this guy stop in the middle of the road, he was hugging the yellow lines and was there was on comming traffic so i assumed he was waiting on the traffic so he could turn left, and since he was all the way over he was trying to let people go around, and when i started to go around him he decided not to turn left, but to pull, forward and turn right, right the eff into me.

so i called newark pd and the officer that took the report was my riot control partner from the police academy, hes a u.s. marine from the famous lima company. when he walked back from the his cruiser and told us that i was at fault, but he is not going to issue me a citation,the look on the other guys face was WTF?

i guess it is a good thing that i went through the police academy and to have freinds at the police department. so after everything was done we bull****ed
for a few and the other guy just stood there and watched i think he finally caught on when i asked the officer how his twins were and that my mother was asking about him cause she knows his mom

a couple of tabs that hold the valance on had broke off, so im gonna leave it like that till the isurance people come to look at it. besides i was planning on replacing it with the one like yours, what years are those on?

 

progressive is going to do a full investigation cause they believe its not my fault, he didnt have a blinker on and was stoped in the road at an intersection as planning to turn left, and its not even his car its his moms car and she hadnt even seen it yet but is telling them that she needs a rental due to it being not operable, drove it home, plus hes got a real long rap sheet of traffic violations, they think they are trying to scam them

 

He has a '01-03 FX4 valance and then he painted it. Why do you want to go with the gray plastic?

will a 98-03 front valance bolt up to my 04

 

'98-03 valances are different. If you want one with the round fog lights you need '01-03. You will need a Edge valance if you want it painted and a FX4 if you want it gray plastic. you will also need new fog lights to work with the new valance.

NOPE. lol.....STOCK chrome 01-03 upper that has been sprayed with duplicolor bedliner. Valence is my STOCK 01-03 gray XLT non-Fx4 valence that has been sprayed with duplicolor bedliner. Whatyou see.....iswhat it camefrom thefactory with...but different now. lol.

 

Do you want it painted to match the rest of your truck? You need to get an 01-03 EDGE valence...they are smooth and paintable. It'll work on your current upper metal bumper. The XLT one in your link is textured gray...just like WowMike's truck(pics above my post). You will want a non-FX4 valence.
