Icon7 First time EVER time off road

I took it to a local park - found an abandoned utility trail turned to mud from the recent ice storm. I'm an idiot for going by myself, and it was seriously only a hundred yards or so - but I tried to do the straight in 2wd, got to the end after flinging mud like crazy and decided to be safe with the 4wd. I really wish there was a legal place to offroad around here...

Anyway after the first real mud my truck's ever crossed:

Lame, I know. But I'm still proud.

haha nice. First time I ever took my truck out I was bone stock, still with running boards and stock Wrangler RTS tires. Still kept up with some of the bigger boys who all laughed at my wussy looking little Mazda and said I'll never make it.

I showed them....and that's why they don't call me crazy mikey for nothin!

yup,she got dirty alright,lol

Get yourself some more aggressive tires and rip 'er up!!

get you some wider mud tires that stick out a few inches and you will cover the truck in mud

Sounds fun! I remember my first time off road I went into a little ditch and ending up covering the outside, and inside, of my friends escort in mud!

the first time i wheeled my truck was at the beach i ended up getting stuck in a tide pool with an incoming tide and there was no one on the beach except this girl i went with who drove a honda civic... and we did have a rope... just a leash... i ended up getting the civic about 1 foot away so i could quadruple the leash so it would snap and even then it took about 45 min... i ended up having to drive her civic and told her just to give it a little gas not much and pay attention she ended up flooring it and when i got my truck out she rear ended her civic...

hair might grow in some strange places, but dont expect your truck to start sprouting little donut tires every time you wash the mud off.

Rip those sorry mud flaps off the truck and try it again. It looks like you drove through a tiny puddle.
