Ford ranger Rims

Hi,

I have a 2001 ford ranger 4x4. I found a set of XD series wheels and tires that came off of a Ford but don’t know what model. The bolt pattern on the XD wheels are 5x5.5 and my bolt pattern on my ranger is 5x5.4. I did some research and got different answers on weather it would fit or not. I’m pretty sure I have to get adapter spacers and if so will it work and will it mess up the truck?

Thanks

I'd keep looking for rims rather than running adapters. Many Jeeps also use the 5x4.5" (5x114.3) pattern, so you can also search for aftermarket rims that fit Jeeps.

With that bolt pattern, they're from/for a full size truck, like the F150, etc..

I still stand by my previous comment.

I'll agree with Bird76Mojo.

Attaching an adapter will also offset the wheel/tire combo more outside (positive offset) possibly making contact with the wheel well and/or front bumper/valance.

Those 5x5.5 wheels may look great, but it may bring more headache than what they're worth. Check hub size, too because 4wd hubs are larger.

Jeep, Toyota, and some Dodge have a 5x4.5 pattern, so if and when you see a set/style you like for them, bet that they will also fit your rig, too.
