Ford Says no new US ranger based on the T6

Well, for those of you who hated the looks of the leaked T6 ranger photos, you're in luck. Ford says they won't be bringing it here. They don't mention what they plan to do to replace the ranger, but this article makes it sound like they are considering that F100 concept from before.

morris, they weren't saying it was gonna be shorter than the ranger, shorter than the 150 though. MY guess it would be a smidge longer than a ranger and as wide as a 150

that concept drawing looks like a dang car, i hope that whatever it is, it actually looks like a truck! i wouldnt mind it, but i dont see why they have to drop the "Ranger" nameplate from it. hel call it the F-100 Ranger like it used to be!

PickupTrucks.com - Update 1: Rumors that Ford is Thinking Smaller With New F-100 Pickup Based on the F-150

I never heard of the F100 plan. Sounds neat. Having a diesel and V8 options sound great too. It would be interesting to see the sticker prices though. Hopefully they are reasonable.

well, if its the same price range as the ranger now that would be good. I wouldnt feel like im getting ripped off like if i went out and bought say a 09-10 ranger at sticker price right now.

just so we have a smaller truck than the f-150, no difference if its called ranger or f100.
