Front Brake Pads

Can anyone please tell me if the OE Front brake pads are semi metallic or ceramic?

They would be semi-metalic, I don't think Ford ever use ceramic on Rangers, or any model that I can remember

I think ceramic were used OEM on Japanese cars mostly, i.e. Honda, Toyota, ect.....

Dam O'Reilly's auto parts website says Ceramic.

You can use ceramic but I would change rotors at the same time or they will "squeal" when stopping, it will go away after a few 100 miles of stop and go
