Front Bumper Cover
Front Bumper Cover
I did a dumb *** this morning and hit a plastic garbage can with my 08 Ranger. The bumper cover has a small area pushed out which likely has a brace behind that spot. I will try to check out tonight if not on the weekend.
I am going to try to push the bumper cover out to flush, what can I use on the back side to repair the crack from the back. I was thinking of using epoxy on the back. It does not appear to have damage on the face, some minor marks the color of the garbage can (tan) that I am hoping I can rub off the black lower portion of the bumper cover.
Thanks
George

I was watching Trucks! yesterday and they where showing how to remove discoloration from damaged plastic trim and remolding out of shape plastic.
They said to heat the area with a heat gun just enough to re flow the color but not enough to where you loose your grain.
You might try searching for the episode that was on yesterday it may help you out.
